Trending on the Farm: Caleb Bonemer continues solid start, Barons rotation outstanding in Knoxville

Noah Schultz – MLB Pipeline White Sox #1

Noah Schultz had a good outing against a pesky Knoxville lineup, and ended the month of May with two strong outings (10 IP, 7H, 2R [1 ER], 5 BB, 8 K).

Kyle Teel – MLB Pipeline White Sox #2

Kyle Teel’s bat cooled from it’s molten lava state, but still put together a solid week both at and behind the plate for the Knights last week in Buffalo. Teel ended the month of May hitting .333/.444/.613 (1.057 OPS) with 16 runs scored, six doubles, five home runs, 14 RBI, and 4-for-4 on stolen bases over 75 at-bats (22 games).

Hagen Smith – MLB Pipeline White Sox #3

Hagen Smith is still in Arizona conducting biomechanics work.

Colson Montgomery – MLB Pipeline White Sox #6

Colson Montgomery drew the collar in four games in Buffalo last week before getting hit with a pitch and leaving the game. Montgomery did not appear in either of the final two games against the Bisons.

Braden Montgomery – MLB Pipeline White Sox #4

Braden Montgomery has endured a few tough weeks after his promotion to Winston-Salem, last week being by far the toughest for the 22-year-old outfielder.

Grant Taylor – MLB Pipeline White Sox #7

Bullpen Grant Taylor continued his streak of not allowing runs while striking batters out, adding two more scoreless appearances to the docket last week in Knoxville.

Jairo Iriarte – MLB Pipeline White Sox #9

Jairo Iriarte returned to game action with the ACL White Sox after an extended layoff/biomechanics work in Arizona. Iriarte had a clean inning of work in his outing, striking out one batter.

George Wolkow – MLB Pipeline White Sox #10

George Wolkow’s struggles continued last week, as he managed two hits and two walks over six games last week. Wolkow is hitting .182/.269/.289 with a .558 OPS over 44 games so far this year with eight extra base hits (three doubles, one triple, four home runs) in 159 at-bats.

Caleb Bonemer – MLB Pipeline White Sox #11

Caleb Bonemer once again excelled for the Cannon Ballers, this time in Charleston. Bonemer walked (four) as much as he struck out in five games and in his first 44 games as a professional, has hit .296/.429/.493 (.922 OPS) with 12 doubles, three triples, and four home runs.

Trending on the Farm: AAA (Charlotte)

Jacob Amaya

26-year-old Jacob Amaya had seven hits in 11 at-bats last week for Charlotte, hitting .636/.733/.636 scoring one run, had three RBI, and walked four times while not striking out once. Amaya was caught stealing on both of his tries last week.

Andrew Vaughn

27-year-old Andrew Vaughn had a strong week in Buffalo, hitting .333/.391/.571 for a .962 OPS over five games last week. Vaughn scored four runs, hit two doubles, one home run, and four RBI.

Tristan Gray

29-year-old Tristan Gray hit .333/.375/.533 for a .908 OPS with five runs scored, one home run, and four RBI in four games.

Tyler Schweitzer – MLB Pipeline White Sox #22

24-year-old Tyler Schweitzer had his best start as a member of the Knights last week, hurling six scoreless innings.

Caleb Freeman

27-year-old Caleb Freeman pitched two and a third scoreless frames in two appearances last week, walking two batters, striking out one, and notching one save.

James Karinchak

29-year-old James Karinchak pitched two scoreless innings allowing one hit, one walk, and struck out three in his lone appearance last week.

Peyton Pallette – MLB Pipeline White Sox #29

24-year-old Peyton Pallette made his Charlotte debut last week, making two appearances throwing three and two thirds innings allowing two hits, one run (earned), walked two, and struck out five.

Trending on the Farm: AA (Birmingham)

William Bergolla – MLB Pipeline White Sox #14

20-year-old William Bergolla hit .348/.423/.478 for a .901 OPS in seven games last week. Bergolla scored two runs, hit three doubles, one RBI, walked more (three) than he struck out (two), and was successful on his lone stolen base attempt.

Ryan Galanie

24-year-old Ryan Galanie had a nice week at the plate, slashing .318/.423/.455 for an .878 OPS, with three runs scored, one home run, eight RBI, more walks (three) than strikeouts (one), and was 2-for-2 on stolen bases in seven games.

Shane Murphy

24-year-old Shane Murphy continued his fantastic month of May, and in five May appearances (four starts), Murphy had a 1.37 ERA, 0.72 WHIP, and 26 strikeouts in 26.1 innings.

Dalton Roach

29-year-old Dalton Roach had a good outing last week against the Smokies.

Jake Palisch

26-year-old Jake Palisch has taken to his newfound starting role like a duck to water, producing another fantastic outing.

Riley Gowens

25-year-old Riley Gowens produced another solid outing for the Barons, as the Birmingham rotation has been been locked in as a group in recent weeks.

Mario Camilletti

26-year-old Mario Camilletti scored one run, had two hits and walked three times in two games last week in Knoxville.

Andrew Dalquist

24-year-old right-hander Andrew Dalquist made two scoreless appearances last week for the Barons, working three and a third innings allowing one hit, two walks, and struck out five.

Garrett Schoenle

26-year-old southpaw Garrett Schoenle made two scoreless appearances last week, throwing two innings allowing one hit, struck out three, and picked up two saves in two tries.

Trending on the Farm: A+ (Winston-Salem)

Tanner McDougal

22-year-old Tanner McDougal put together a filthy outing against Hub City, making that two strong outings in a row for the 6’5″ righty.

Frankeli Arias

22-year-old southpaw Frankeli Arias put in a rather efficient four innings of work in his outing against the Spartanburgers.

Carson Jacobs

23-year-old Carson Jacobs made three appearances for the Dash last week, throwing four and two thirds innings allowing one hit, one run (unearned), walked four, and struck out eight.

Mark McLaughlin

24-year-old Mark McLaughlin made two scoreless appearances last week, allowing two hits over four innings while striking out six. He also picked up a save in the process.

Trending on the Farm: A (Kannapolis)

Javier Mogollon – MLB Pipeline White Sox #24

19-year-old Javier Mogollon had a 1.217 OPS in three games in Charleston last week (two doubles, home run), scoring five runs while also being successful on his lone stolen base attempt.

Grant Umberger

23-year-old southpaw Grant Umberger was nails once again for the Cannon Ballers.

Kaleb Sophy

24-year-old southpaw Kaleb Sophy made his first appearance without issuing a free pass, and it was by far his best outing since joining the White Sox organization.

Kannapolis Bullpen

There were several memeber of the Cannon Ballers bullpen that threw the ball well against the RiverDogs. Nick Altermatt, Jonathan Clark, Kevin Davis, Pierce George, Liam Paddack, Blake Shepardson, Hale Sims, Wardquelin Vásquez, and Jack Young all had scoreless outings. Joseph Yabbour allowed an unearned run and Ricardo Brizuela had a scoreless three inning start.

Trending on the Farm: Rookie (ACL)

Leandro Alsinois

20-year-old outfielder Leandro Alsinois hit .429/.429/.929 for a 1.358 OPS last week with four runs scored, one double, two home runs, and three RBI in five games.

Adrian Gil

19-year-old infielder Adrian Gil hit .333/.455/.556 for a 1.011 OPS with two runs scored, one double, one home run, five RBI, and was unsuccessful on his only stolen base attempt in five games last week.

Grant Smith

24-year-old infielder Grant Smith hit .357/.400/.571 for a .971 OPS over four games last week, also scoring two runs, homering once, and had four RBI. Smith also pitched a scoreless inning of relief, striking out one.

Jeremy González

20-year-old left-hander Jeremy González
made one scoreless appearance last week, throwing three innings while allowing two hits and striking out three.

Fabian Ysalla

20-year-old right-hander Fabian Ysalla made one scoreless start for the ACL White Sox last week, throwing four innings allowing three hits, walked two, and struck out three.

Gray Thomas

22-year-old righty Gray Thomas allowed two hits over two innings between two scoreless outings last week.

Jordany Chirinos

19-year-old righty Jordany Chirinos had a scoreless start last week, throwing four innings allowing two hits, three walks, and struck out five.
