FutureSox returns as independent following split with Sox Machine

After an 18 month partnership beginning in April of 2022, FutureSox.com and SoxMachine.com have returned to their respective independent statuses held prior to the merge.

FutureSox was created in 2003 by Jason Gage, who remains the owner of the website. Mike Rankin will continue his role as Managing Editor, while James Fox maintains his position as Senior Editor.

FutureSox is supported by its contributors: Steve Hasman (aka Sleepy Harold), Ken Sawilchik, Jeff Cohen, Julie Brady, Elijah Evans, Jasper Roos, Jeff Feyerer, Jason Lowenthal, Rob Young and Dan Santaromita.

For the first time in its history, FutureSox merged with a blog with the intent to introduce and distribute unique perspective to an established and dedicated reader base at Sox Machine. Despite the discontinuation of the working relationship, FutureSox valued its time collaborating with Owner and Managing Editor Jim Margalus, Editor Josh Nelson and all those who contribute to SoxMachine.com.

FutureSox will maintain its foundation as a source for credible and engaging coverage of the Chicago White Sox organization. We implore those who are willing and able to support our efforts through Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/FutureSox

Thank you for being a part of our community that is over 20 years strong. For questions, comments and/or concerns email us at: FutureSox@gmail.com.

  1. Updated my Patreon. Glad to have a second site to check out.

Will there be daily minor league posts still? I love SleepyHarold’s weekly update.
