Ian Eskridge and James Fox are joined by Mike Rankin for a Sunday night FutureSox Podcast. Knowing Mike is a pitching guy, Ian and James asked him how he felt about the return for Dylan Cease to start off. After Mike gave his thoughts on the Dylan Cease trade return, they moved on to the roles for Crochet and Kopech. They also broke down the White Sox signing Robbie Grossman.
While Mike Moustakas and Jesse Chavez maybe weren’t that shocking, the Kevin Pillar release and subsequent resigning has Ian, James, and Mike doing some thinking and scrambling to think what decisions on the 40 man will be made. The squad is at currently at 42. With the White Sox letting go of some of the older free agent signings, who will be left to take a spot on the 26 & 40 Man rosters?
