Noah Schultz – MLB Pipeline White Sox #1
Noah Schultz endured a brief hiccup in the second inning in what was otherwise a typical stellar Schultz Saturday outing.
Colson Montgomery – MLB Pipeline White Sox #2
After a tough prior week, Colson Montgomery made sure to pack his big lumber for the trip to Norfolk. The 22-year-old shortstop homered thrice while securing 10 total hits and two walks across six games.
Hagen Smith – MLB Pipeline White Sox #3
21-year-old southpaw Hagen Smith made his final start of the season and will now look to build up for 2025 after a wildly successful college and brief professional campaign.
George Wolkow – MLB Pipeline White Sox #7
George Wolkow scuffled at the plate, striking out 12 times in 23 at-bats, in what was the regular season finale for Kannapolis. Wolkow and the Cannon Ballers will square off against Charleston in the Carolina League Division Series this week.
Jeral Perez – MLB Pipeline White Sox #13
Jeral Perez had a slow offensive week for the Cannon Ballers in Salem, striking out eight times in 21 at-bats.
Mason Adams – MLB Pipeline White Sox #8
Mason Adams ran into a bit of trouble in the third inning due to some unfortunate bounces, but had an otherwise solid outing.
Ky Bush – MLB Pipeline White Sox #9
It wasn’t the best start for Ky Bush, as he fell behind quickly and was pulled upon reaching his pitch limit.

Trending on the Farm: AAA (Charlotte)
Yoán Moncada
Rehabbing third baseman Yoán Moncada had a solid week at the plate in Norfolk, slashing .375/.375/.688 for a 1.063 OPS across four games (16 at-bats). Moncada had six total hits, including two doubles and a home run, two RBI, and one run scored.
Carlos Pérez
27-year-old Carlos Pérez was once again strong at the dish, hitting .353/.389/.647 for a 1.036 OPS with three runs scored, two doubles, one home run, and three RBI in four games (17 at-bats).
Canaan Smith-Njigba
25-year-old outfielder Canaan Smith-Njigba made the most of his limited action in Charlotte, posting five hits, including a double, two runs scored, two stolen bases, an RBI, and a 1.223 OPS in three games.
Mark Payton
32-year-old outfielder Mark Payton continued to crush AAA pitching, producing a .320/.433/.560 slash line with a .993 OPS. Payton scored four runs, had eight total hits (three doubles, home run), three RBI, and a stolen base on two tries.
Cory Abbott
28-year-old Cory Abbott was superb in two scoreless outings against the Tides last week. Abbott threw five total innings, allowing two hits, one walk, and notching 10 strikeouts.
Deivi GarcÃa
25-year-old Deivi GarcÃa had another strong spot-start for the Knights. GarcÃa pitched three scoreless innings allowing just two hits while striking out five.
Adisyn Coffey
25-year-old Adisyn Coffey notched three saves in three scoreless appearances last week, throwing three total innings with two walks permitted but four strikeouts.
Sean Burke – MLB Pipeline White Sox #29
24-year-old Sean Burke has complied several strong outings as of late, with the latest including five innings pitched allowing five hits, two runs (two earned), one walk, and nine strikeouts.
Trending on the Farm: AA (Birmingham)
Riley Gowens
24-year-old Riley Gowens had a two start week for the Barons against Pensacola. Gowens’ first start had some weirdness in the first inning, but ultimately had a solid line over the course of the week. The right-hander threw 10 innings, allowed 11 hits, five runs (one earned), one walk, and struck out 11.
Juan Carela – MLB Pipeline White Sox #26
22-year-old Juan Carela was able to keep the Blue Wahoos bats in check in his latest start. In six starts since joining the Barons in early August, Carela has thrown 27.2 innings with a 3.58 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, and 31 strikeouts.
Caleb Freeman
26-year-old righty Caleb Freeman made two scoreless and spotless appearances for the Barons, throwing two innings, struck out three, and secured a save.
Peyton Pallette – MLB Pipeline White Sox #27
Peyton Pallette continued to allow opposing lineups nothing but frustration, as he made two more scoreless appearances last week, hurling four innings allowing one hit, one walk, and struck out two.
Trending on the Farm: A+ (Winston-Salem)
Aldrin Batista – MLB Pipeline White Sox #21
21-year-old Aldrin Batista had a strong finish to a fantastic 2024 regular season, barring a late push to Birmingham for their playoff run. If that was indeed his last start, between Kannapolis and Winston-Salem, Batista made 22 starts throwing 110.2 innings, had 116 strikeouts, a 2.93 ERA, and a 1.16 WHIP.
Lucas Gordon
22-year-old southpaw Lucas Gordon capped of a solid season with a solid final start with the Dash. In his first fill professional season, Gordon made 23 starts between Kannapolis and Winston-Salem, throwing 113 innings with a 2.23 ERA, a 1.16 WHIP, and 98 strikeouts.
Luke Bell
24-year-old righty Luke Bell had a strong end to his season in Salem. Bell made two scoreless appearances, throwing three total innings allowing two hits and struck out four. Between Kannapolis and Winston-Salem, Bell made 33 appearances chucking 49.1 innings with a 3.65 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and 55 strikeouts.
Carson Jacobs
23-year-old right-hander Carson Jacobs made two scoreless appearances last week, throwing two innings allowing just one walk while striking out four. Between three teams (ACL, Kannapolis, & Winston-Salem), Jacobs made 31 appearances with a 2.37 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and 58 strikeouts in 38 innings.

Sam Antonacci
2024 fifth round pick Sam Antonacci was a hitting machine for the Ballers last week in Salem. Antonacci slashed .458/.536/.625 for a 1.161 OPS with eight runs scored, 11 total hits (including two doubles and a triple), five RBI, and went 4-for-6 on stolen bases.
Alec Makarewicz
23-year-old infielder Alec Makarewicz continued a strong start to his professional career, as the UDFA slashed .346/.357/.577 for a .934 OPS. Makarewicz scored four runs, had three doubles, one home run, and nine RBI across six games.
Ronny Hernandez
19-year-old catcher Ronny Hernandez was an on-base machine last week. Hernandez got on base at a .643 clip and had a 1.087 OPS, with five walks (to just two strikeouts) and four hits in nine at-bats in three games played.
Drake Logan
Recently turned 24-year-old (happy birthday Drake!) Drake Logan hit .333/.333/.611 for a .944 OPS with three runs scored, two doubles, one home run, three RBI, and had one stolen base in four games.
Pierce George
2024 13th round pick Pierce George made three scoreless appearances for the Ballers last week, throwing three innings allowing just one hit while striking out three.
Mark McLaughlin
23-year-old right-hander Mark McLaughlin made two spectactular scoreless appearances against Salem last week. McLaughlin threw five total innings permitting four hits, one walk, and struck out nine.
